I've been reading posts and answers on the Nook HD+ no charging problem. I acquired this Nook along with another one that does work fine. Like the other posters, my charge light goes green then amber then a green flash and the light goes out. And, like the answers posted, I tried the reboot, the 10 second plug / unplug, nothing worked. Thinking it was the battery shot, I looked around fore a replacement. But, before buying a new battery, I decided to pull the battery out of my good Nook (charged to about 95%) and put in the non working unit, still same light flashes. Connected the old battery to my good Nook and it's charging like a champ. Any ideas as to what has happened to the old Nook?
Update: The battery from the "won't power up" one charged fully using my working Nook, working unit powered up fine and showed a full charge. Put it back into the non-working Nook and same thing. Same flashing charge indicator lights. One thing I forgot to mention, during the flashing indicator process, I do get the "Nook" screen until the flashing stops, then blank screen, just like I did before the battery charge.
So again, any ideas? Could there be a hardware problem, bricked, internal memory?
Thanks, Roger
