I'm trying to create a custom rom for a Bauhn Amid 972XS tablet running android 4.0.3 ICS. Based on the documentation from https://source.android.com/setup/start I would need the proprietary binaries of the device I'm creating the rom for. I've searched every where on how I could source these binaries and found an update package named AMID-972XS_Build20121008.zip. I extracted the zip and got these folders . Are all the things I'm looking for located in the system folder? I've read that for newer versions of android the drivers, proprietary binaries etc. are located in /vendor.
I saw a vendor folder in root but it's just a folder with shortcut icon and when I open it, all it has is a file named /vendor again with the shortcut icon..
Specs:
CPU: Amlogic Meson64 g04 customer platform
Family: Cortex-A9
ARMv7 (armeabi-v7a)
Kernel: Linux version 3.0.8
I appreciate any help.
