I need to help someone set up a Windows PC in a configuration I've not tried before, and I'm wondering how hard it will be.
This person has a laptop which they are planning on using for Zoom/Skype meetings. We want to mirror the display and sound output through HDMI to another room, while still having the laptop work "as normal".
How practical is it to have both output through the built in speaker (or headset) as well as audio output through HDMI?
Ive found Windows 7 sound output through HDMI and Speaker at the same time which talks about something similar for Windows 7, but requiring a bit of hacking with a virtual audio cable.
Is this advice current for Windows 10, and is there a less hacky way of doing it?
